1. Introduction

Welcome to Cambridge Removals Ltd. By booking our services, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully as they detail the obligations and rights of both parties involved.


2. Services Provided

Cambridge Removals Ltd offers the following services:

  • Residential (household) removals within the UK.
  • Some commercial relocation services.
  • Collection of items within Cambridge and delivery to any location within the UK.

Note: We do not provide international moving services or pick-ups from outside Cambridge.


3. Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Bank transfers
  • Debit and credit cards

All payments must be cleared before or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Insurance and Liability

All items moved within the UK are fully insured while in transit. Cambridge Removals Ltd takes every precaution to handle your possessions with care. However:

  • Claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • The insurance covers only the value of the goods moved, and does not include sentimental value or indirect losses.
  • We are not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the customer.

5. Booking and Cancellations

  • All bookings must be confirmed in advance, and any changes must be communicated at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and efficient move, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the size, quantity, and nature of items to be moved.
  • Ensuring access to both the pick-up and delivery locations, including parking permits if required.
  • Properly packing all items unless packaging services are arranged in advance.

7. Items Not Permitted

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport the following:

  • Hazardous or illegal materials.
  • Live animals.
  • Perishable goods (unless agreed in writing).

8. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

Cambridge Removals Ltd will do its utmost to complete your move on time. However, we are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic, weather conditions, or road closures.
  • Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., mechanical failure or strikes).

9. Limitations on Service

  • Cambridge Removals Ltd does not handle international moves.
  • Pick-up services are limited to locations within Cambridge.
